Wikiglyphs is a collection of approximately 2500 of the most commonly used Chinese glyphs. On this site each glyph is displayed with English translation, pinyin representation, and information such as stroke number.

The main objective of this site is to show relationships between glyphs such as:

  • Displaying characters which make up a character.
  • Listing characters which a character is a part of.
  • Listing characters which a character is related to.
  • Listing characters which a character is linked to.

To explore relationships navigate by selecting glyphs.

Work is currently being completed on introducing approximately 1000 Japanese glyphs to the site. Future releases will be announced via our Twitter and Facebook pages. If you would like to stay updated with news and events from Wikiglyphs then we recommend you use either of these social channels.
